Terra Ventoux wines are produced from soils within vineyards located on 5 different Geological terroirs, these terroirs receive more than 2700 hours of sunlight per year. The richness of the soils, within the 600-hectare vineyard creates exceptional flavour profiles within the Terra Ventoux wines. Their grapes grown on all 5 of these terroirs (included in this wine) are: limestone plateau, white clay with limestone pebbles, sandy hills with red clay, iron rich red soils and pebbly alluvium silt deposits.
It is made from Grenache and Syrah vines more than 30 years old.
This is a wonderfully wven wine offering aromas of chocolate cherries and plums soaked in vanilla, pipe tobacco, violets and a hint of white pepper. The entry is supple and it's laden with berries and cocoa atop leather and spice. Balanced and approachable with smooth tannins.
A definitive food wine, pair with grilled eggplant, aged goat cheese, roasted meats and hearty soups.
